Christina Reynolds

FÍS Creative Manager (IADT)

Christina joined IADT as the FÍS Creative Manager in September 2023 and is delighted to be working with the FÍS Film Project as part of her role.  As well as a Masters in Arts Management and Cultural Policy from UCD and a Degree in Liberal Arts (Bard College, NY), Christina comes equipped with a Professional Diploma in Strategy and Innovation from the Irish Management Institute, a Certificate in Human Resource Management (CIPD, NCI) and a Diploma in Personal and Business Coaching (ICF, ILI) among many other personal and professional accolades. Christina has over 15 years’ experience working in higher education in Ireland and the USA.

Acting Senior Administrator (Oide)

Michelle has extensive senior administrative experience working across a broad range of teachers’ professional development initiatives that seek to promote digital technologies in primary and post-primary education. She joined the National Centre for Technology in Education (NCTE) over 20 years ago and has continued her role in this area following the development of the Professional Development Services for Teachers, Technology in Education Department. She has been involved in the FÍS Film Project since 2005 and in the past 12 years’ her role in FÍS has expanded to include the co-ordination of FÍS from the Oide (formerly PDST) side of the partnership. Her broad range of experience and knowledge supports the planning and co-ordination of the annual FÍS Film Awards ceremony organised in collaboration with IADT & the FÍS Office.

Senior Leader for Digital Technologies - Primary (Oide)

Siobhán McAndrew is the Senior Leader for Digital Technologies (Primary) at Oide. In this role, she focuses on enhancing the integration of digital technologies within educational settings. Siobhan develops strategies for effectively embedding digital tools in teaching and learning, contributing to the evolution of digital education. Her efforts aim to improve digital skills and knowledge among educators, supporting the broader goal of advancing digital literacy in Irish primary schools.

Oide

Claire joined Oide (formerly PDST) in 2018 and works as a Professional Learning Leader in Digital Technologies.  Claire supports primary schools to effectively embed digital technologies into their teaching, learning and assessment practices in the classroom.  Claire has been actively involved in developing and delivering the Oide/IADT Digital Storytelling: Filmmaking summer course for teachers each year with a view to growing the number of schools participating in FÍS. She also supports the up-skilling of tutors to deliver these courses through the Education Centre network nationwide and has also been involved with running webinars to support teachers with their FÍS entries.

Professional Learning Leader - Digital Technologies (OIDE)

Ruairí has recently joined Oide in August 2024 and works as a Professional Learning Leader in Digital Technologies.  Ruairí supports primary schools to effectively embed digital technologies into their teaching, learning and assessment practices in the classroom.  Ruairí has facilitated Digital Storytelling: Filmmaking and Animation summer courses for teachers for many years through various education centres with a view to growing the number of schools participating in FÍS. He previously facilitated a “Make a Movie” project through Navan Education Centre in conjunction with PDST/Fís to foster the further involvement of schools in the area into the Fís Film Project and has also entered his class into the competition on numerous occasions as a teacher.  He believes that the process of filmmaking allows for discovery problem based learning to occur and enhances the development of the whole child.
